The time is read at the bottom of the watch below the beveled crystal, where the hour glides along from right to left, pointing to the minutes. The cycle repeats as the next hour comes into view at the beeginning of the minute track, while up above the Geneva gear mechanism shifts the hours to their next place in the sequence.
