Honouring OMEGA’s legacy of space exploration, this Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon “Black Black” features a 44.25 mm case in polished-brushed black ceramic. The brushed bezel is also made from black ceramic and features a laser-engraved tachymeter scale that is filled with black Grand Feu enamel.

Beneath the front sapphire crystal, the ceramic dial has been sand-blasted by laser and includes a small-seconds display at 9H, a 60-minute and 12-hour recorder at 3H, and a date window at 6H. All of the hands and bevelled indexes are blackened and filled with black Super-LumiNova (green emission).

Visible through the caseback, OMEGA's self-winding Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900 has been given a special “black edition” finish , which includes a matte-blackened rotor, main plate and bridges, as well as black varnished engravings. The watch is worn on a black rubber strap with a lunar surface pattern on the underside, a ceramic foldover clasp, and ceramised titanium frame-spring folders.
